to the Order of Malta, such as Malteser Hilfsdienst (MHD), can be activated by the
federal states if they simply carry out sovereign tasks
- International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (ICRI)
(status similar to the Order of Malta). Independent branches that are assigned to the
German Red Cross (GRC) can be activated by the federal states if they simply

Factory fire departments entrusted with sovereign tasks may also use the services of ChemInfo.
All factory fire departments located in the federal federal states involved in the project
must obtain a license in accordance with the relevant and use the services and applications
of the ChemInfo system in accordance with the relevant state law in the form of a certificate
of recognition.
Usage
The use of the applications and services that can be accessed through the activation is only
permitted in the official environment and use (sovereign and simply sovereign tasks).
To enable the administrators to manage the user accounts, the following data is
queried once a year in accordance with data protection regulations:
- Postal code under which an account is registered
- last login of the account
If individual accounts have not been logged in for more than 12 months, the administrators
reserve the right to contact the associated users by mail. Accounts that can no longer be
reached will be deleted in accordance with the privacy policy.
Individual vs. group account
You are free to create individual user accounts or use a shared account for an organizational unit.
Shared accounts should be distinguished from individual accounts by the use of a generic mail address
to which all users have access. Group accounts can be used by any number of users at the same time.
Where possible, the use of a work/official e-mail address is always preferable. Technically,
both forms of access (individual/group account) are identical, but the following should be noted:
- Passing on / sharing personal data is questionable
- If a personal mail address is used, but the account is used by different people, it is only
possible for the owner of the mail account to change the password, for example (in the case of
the forgotten password function, the account cannot be used until a new password has been set).
- If the owner of the mail address leaves the active service, the entire account is no longer
accessible for notifications from us
- Therefore, with a group account, the username should be correspondingly impersonal and
the mail address should be accessible to everyone
Demo access
These are accounts to get to know the system, they are only valid for 4 weeks and are automatically
blocked again. At the end of the 4 weeks, the account can be manually reactivated by us if a user authorization is available.
An update of the GSApp and thus the use of the entire database is not possible with a demo access due to data licensing.
This document is a recommendation for action, cannot be complete and will therefore be updated as necessary.
